HOPAK Ukrainian Dance School proudly operates within the Association of Ukrainians in South Australia (AUSA), Adelaide. Established in 1972, HOPAK continues to flourish thanks to the support and commitment of its staff, volunteers, community members and dance families.
Dance is an integral aspect of any Ukrainian celebration and our namesake Hopak is Ukraine’s national dance—an energetic showcase of acrobatic leaps, kicks, and spins of Cossack folk dancing. Our dance program caters to students of all abilities and fosters an appreciation of Ukrainian culture through the unique choreography, lively music and elaborate costumes of its diverse regions.
Whether it’s for fun, fitness, friendship or future aspirations to be a member of Adelaide’s premier adult dance troupe, Volya Ukrainian Cossack Dancers, we welcome you and your children to join us at HOPAK Ukrainian Dance School.
